As a Senior Frontend Developer at n Covestro's Price & Deal Management (P&MD) team, you will be part of driving the development of cutting-edge user interfaces and set high standards for user experience on a global scale.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
UI Development and Design:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex user interfaces using the Angular framework and TypeScript.
- Implement responsive and accessible web designs following best practices and industry standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with coding standards and guidelines.
Collaboration and Code Quality:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to create seamless user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
Testing and Optimization:
- Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure stability and reliability of applications.
- Optimize application performance to enhance user experience and responsiveness.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, applying them to enhance the team's output.
WHO ARE YOU?
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- You bring a minimum of 7 years of work experience as a Senior Frontend Developer.
- You have expert knowledge of Angular (version 17 or later), TypeScript, and its ecosystem.
- You have a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- You are experienced with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- You are familiar with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, RxJS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- You are fluent in English (written and verbal).

- Profit-Sharing Bonus (PSP): Depending on the salary grade, the target bonus percentage is 5%. The maximum payout can reach up to 12.5%.
- Do you travel business kilometers with your own transportation? Then you will receive a mileage allowance of € 0.36 per kilometer, of which € 0.23 is untaxed. (with a maximum of 60km per day)
- a homework allowance of € 2.35 per day if you can work from home.
