Senior Manager SAP Integration

Position Summary:

• The primary purpose is to facilitate seamless connectivity and interoperability between various systems and applications within the organization using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Key accountabilities include Managing Integration teams, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, providing solutions that align with business objectives, and implementing scalable and reliable applications on the SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Experience in Designing and developing integration solutions using SAP BTP-IS tools and technologies, such as SAP Cloud Integration or SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO).
• Expertise in programming languages like Java, Groovy, or JavaScript, as well as knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and standards (e.g., REST, SOAP, OData).
• Expertise in providing technical support to resolve integration-related issues and incidents, including root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Guiding team for Configuring and customizing integration solutions to meet specific business needs, including mapping data formats, defining communication protocols, and orchestrating business processes.
• Providing leadership to maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.
• Leading the team for testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of integration solutions.
• Good understanding of SAP ERP/S4HANA systems and cloud technologies with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
• Coordinating and ensuring infrastructural aspects to be taken care appropriately with respective integration. 

 Position Responsibilities:

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Technical expertise and proficiency in SAP BTP-IS/PI/PO. Effectively design, develop, and implement integration solutions that meet the needs of the organization and drive business success.
• Work closely with stakeholders, business users, and other IT teams to gather integration requirements, understand business processes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Managing Integration teams, coach and mentor new team members.

Organizational Responsibilities:

• Interacting with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand business processes, and ensure that integration solutions align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Interacting with external vendors or partners who provide software, services, or APIs that need to be integrated with SAP systems. This collaboration includes establishing integration requirements, negotiating contracts, and facilitating technical integration.
• Work with implementation partners who may be responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within the client's IT landscape.
• Manage the Integration platforms and teams to provide guidance for integration solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 12+ years of Experience in SAP ecosystem.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in development in SAP CPI/BTP-IS.
• At least 8 years of experience in SAP PI/PO
• At least 3 year of experience CI-DS.
• Strong experience in groovy scripts/JavaScript.
• Good understanding of BTP - API Management.

Technical Skill Requirement:

• Expertise in Upgrade, Migration, Implementation and Production Support Projects, along with a keen passion to stay up to date with latest technologies and coming up with PoCs for how they can be used by clients.
• Understanding of integration concepts, including synchronous and asynchronous communication, message mapping, and data transformation.
• Understanding of SAP IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and other SAP interfaces for integration purposes.
• Familiarity with integration patterns and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Experience using Integration or BTP features like API Management, Event Mesh, REST/SOAP/OData, Integration Advisor and Open Connectors.
• Handled at least one end-to-end SAP Implementations, upgrades, Migrations and Global Rollouts.
• Experience in application development utilizing BTP-IS/XI/PI/PO – involving File, SFTP, Advantco SFTP, MDM, RFC, XI, JMS, JDBC, IDOC, IDOC_AEE, SOAP, Mail, HTTP, AS2, EDI Separator and REST adapters.
• Experience in managing teams and leading them to deliver operational excellence.

Location: Hyderabad, India.

Physical Position Requirement:

Regular working hours are from 3:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST. (ICC Second Shift)

Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live.
