What you'll do

We’re looking for an experienced Engineer to join us building high reliability, scalable and delightful software that we love as much as our users. Overcome difficult challenges with your strong background in distributed systems architecture, high scale cloud backends and Clickhouse to help us do what we love most: building the best monitoring platform for developers.

Build high scale OTEL Backend based on Clickhouse. You will be hands-on in our stack, to build OTEL Tracing combined with Synthetic Monitoring as part of a small but ambitious engineering team.

What you should have

We know people come with various knowledge and experience, so a combination of some, any or all of the points below will contribute to your success.

  • Background of technical leadership driving engineering excellence

  • Experience in building, scaling or managing production web services

  • Experience with production deployments in the cloud (especially AWS)

  • Deep working experience with AWS, Clickhouse, Postgres and Node.js

  • First-hand experience with SRE practices: SLOs/SLAs, modern incident management, etc.

  • Know how to communicate with coworkers and customers in English.

  • Ability to be autonomous and self-motivated in a remote work environment, while you also enjoy getting to know your colleagues and helping others.

  • Located in UTC-3 to UTC+3.

What we pay

Fair, competitive, and transparent pay is very important for us. Therefore we work with a standardized salary calculator that includes several factors such as seniority level as well as location.

For this role, the range is

  • €122k - €135k for someone in a similar cost of market as UK, Germany etc.

  • €109k - €122k for someone in a similar cost of market as Spain, Poland, Argentina, Ukraine etc.
