Consult Liaison Psychiatrist (100% Telepsychiatry) - PA, NY, and/or NC license preferred

Iris Telehealth is seeking compassionate psychiatrists (MD/DO) with consult liaison experience in inpatient and ED/ER settings. This position requires 16-day shifts per month and will provide telepsychiatry services to patients as part of a highly collaborative team to ensure comprehensive care.

About the Role:  

• Setting: Consults for IP/ER/ED 

• Hours: 16 shifts per month (Day shifts available starting at 8am CST); weekends are included 

• Ages: Adults primarily (adolescent consults in the ER/ED, comfort level with ages 12+ preferred) 

• Flexible scheduling options, no-on call, no-overnights needed 

• Supervision of Nurse Practitioners Required: All PMHNPs are Iris clinicians that are highly trained and have many years of clinical experience. 

Qualifications 

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry & active medical license 

• At least 2 years of experience providing consult liaison services to adults & adolescents (13+) 

• Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 18+ 

• Open to working with multiple health systems 

• Open to treating patients with all levels of acuity of care (from low to high) 

• Live in the U.S. or a U.S. territory 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Active medical license(s) in the following states strongly preferred - PA, NY, NC  

• Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 12+
