About the team

The FIS Americas Banking and Digital Consulting team provides project-based services to help our banking customers create their unique service solutions. You will be working with a team of highly skilled program and portfolio managers providing innovative solutions utilizing a variety of FIS products and services.

What you will be doing

The Payment Software Professional Services practice within FIS’ Fintech Solutions organization leads Financial Service firms and Industry leaders (partners) on their implementation of our next-generation cloud native solutions. The Practice Manager is responsible for the general health of the practice with broad responsibility and decision-making authority.

You will represent a group of project/program managers who manage bespoke implementations for fortune 500 clientele, this means establishing relationships with key stakeholders, managing budgets (P/L responsibility), coaching direct reports, and leveraging influence where necessary to meet expectations. You will also need to use data as a primary mechanism for decision making and to solve a broad range of issues as appropriate. Importantly, you will be an advocate for our partners – their success is directly proportional to FIS’ success.

· Act as the main liaison between the client and all FIS teams.

· Successfully manage your client projects to complete all related goals on time and within budget.

· Collaborate with teams to effectively solve internal barriers with large cross-functional teams to meet program goals.

· Identify and cultivate new opportunities by reviewing statements of work and providing input on appropriate staffing levels for client engagements.

· Experience leading large complex programs with competing priorities.

· Adept at leading executive level strategic conversations with the ability to drive to decisions.

· Comfortable engaging in difficult customer conversations including negotiating potential tradeoffs.

· Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and PM skills.

· Willing to travel 25%.

· Typically requires ten or more years of related experience.

Added bonus if you have

Experience working with cloud native platforms in Professional services and/or consulting Experience in a Payments Processing environment. Experience leading client engagements larger than 5,000 hours.

· An understand of financial and banking solutions.

· Broad knowledge of FIS’ products and services, business practices and processes.

· Project Management or Agile certifications.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $111,410.00 - $187,180.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
