Job Description:

Lower, LLC a Columbus, Ohio based National Mortgage Lender is looking for an Email & SMS Marketing Manager

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage high-impact email and SMS marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and nurture prospects, using segmentation and automation to deliver targeted, personalized content at key stages in the customer journey.

  • Build and optimize detailed segmentation strategies for contact lists, leveraging user behavior, demographics, and transaction-level data to create highly relevant and personalized messaging that maximizes open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

  • Design and implement automated email and SMS workflows, including drip campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and re-engagement strategies, ensuring a seamless experience that guides leads through the sales funnel while increasing conversion opportunities.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI to generate actionable insights, inform future strategies, and continually improve campaign effectiveness and lead quality.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales and Content Production sales teams to create compelling email and SMS creatives that are visually engaging, aligned with the brand's voice, and optimized for performance across various customer segments and platforms.

  • Ensure full compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA, implementing best practices for deliverability, list management, opt-in processes, and data privacy to maintain a high standard of ethical communication.

Who you are:

  • 4+ years of experience in executing high-performance email and SMS marketing campaigns, with a proven ability to drive lead generation, increase engagement, and deliver tangible business results through targeted and personalized messaging strategies.

  • Expertise in segmentation and advanced personalization techniques, with a deep understanding of how to leverage customer data and behavioral insights to create dynamic, highly relevant content that resonates with specific audience segments and maximizes conversion rates.

  • Strong proficiency with email and SMS marketing platforms (Specifically Salesforce & Sendgrid), including hands-on experience in building and optimizing automation workflows, designing complex drip campaigns, and managing large-scale campaigns across customer touchpoints.

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to dive into performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and translate data into actionable insights that continuously improve campaign KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and overall ROI.

  • Collaborative team player, with a track record of working closely with content creators, designers, and sales teams to deliver cohesive campaigns that align with brand voice, product messaging, and overarching business goals, while consistently driving lead acquisition.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices, ensuring all campaigns are fully compliant with email and SMS marketing regulations like CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and TCPA, while implementing best practices for deliverability, list hygiene, and data privacy to maintain high engagement rates and protect customer data.
