Description:

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Marine Structural Welders for projects located in and around Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $34/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Marine Structural Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

  • Join various metals using complex thermal processes in overhaul, repair & construction of naval vessels
  • Weld flux core in all positions
  • Structural fillet & butt welding
  • Grind, fabricate, & torch work
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have clean background to gain access to military base.
  • Must pass 5 panel drug screen 
  • Must have Maritime OSHA 10 cert.
  • Must pass weld test to NAVSEA standard
  • Hand Tools
