Part Time RNs $10,000 sign on bonus!

Works in collaboration with RHS Healthcare teams in assisting with patient centered care, and community providers access 24 hours a day 7 days per week (that includes Holidays) to Riverside Health Systems' Acute and Emergency Facilities and Services. Manages all inbound and outbound calls for Riverside Transfer Center and Riverside Nurse Triage. Consistently coordinates patient symptom based triage, facilitates direct inpatient and Emergency department admits, and consults. Coordinates patient transport to ensure efficient patient throughput. Coordinates and facilitates patient bed placement for Riverside Health System Acute Care facilities.

What you will do

  • Consistently demonstrates ability to assess, facilitate and coordinate in a timely manner community and RHS patient triage, admission/consult for patient transfer, bed placement, transportation, post-acute discharge calls, remote patient monitoring, RHS MD and service line referrals. Provides assistance for multiple RHS service lines.
  • Remains attentive to department needs through availability to receive and take calls by limiting off and unavailable state.
  • Processes documented encounters per hour within established productivity standard.
  • Utilizes knowledge of policies and process regarding health communication services and software, on line tools and thorough documentation in processing encounters. Ensures each encounter maintains quality which ensures customer service is standard in the call center and follow up and final resolution is done according to departmental policies and procedures.


Qualifications

Education

  • Program Graduate, Registered Nurse (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Preferred)

Experience

  • 3-4 years RN Experience in Acute Care setting Required.


Skills and Abilities

  • Transfer Center Experience preferred
  • Nurse Triage experience preferred
  • Computer Experience Required
  • Efficient at Typing Required


Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Preferred)

*This department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days week to include Holidays.

*For this position you will be required to work every 3rd weekend and will have a rotating holiday package every year.
