IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Manage the organization’s financial and procurement operations, ensuring efficient and reliable systems and processes.
  • Support executive leadership with financial and procurement insights, acting as a trusted advisor on finance and purchasing topics.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and year-end audits for the German entity and group entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP (HGB).
  • Oversee financial and purchasing activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting (including for the product organization), cash and risk management, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to provide financial reports and updates to senior management.
  • Report monthly financial KPIs to key stakeholders for tracking and analysis.
  • Supervise accounting activities, ensuring compliance with standards and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate financial operations, including month-end and year-end closing, and work closely with the shared services team.
  • Act as a business partner to other teams to support process improvements and contribute to organizational efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage direct reports in the finance and procurement department, offering guidance and coaching to foster a collaborative, growth-focused team environment.
