Job description

Who we are:

Irdeto is the world leader in digital platform cybersecurity, empowering businesses to innovate for a secure, connected future. Building on over 50 years of expertise in security, Irdeto’s services and solutions protect revenue, enable growth and fight cybercrime in video entertainment, video games, and connected industries including transport, health and infrastructure. Irdeto is the security partner dedicated to empowering a secure world where people can connect with confidence.

With teams and offices around the world, Irdeto’s greatest asset is its people - our diversity is celebrated through an inclusive workplace, where everyone has an equal opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to Irdeto's success.

The Role: Graphic Design Intern

Only applicants residing in the Netherlands will be considered*

Irdeto is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing team. In this role, you will support departments across the company, working with various stakeholders to deliver engaging visual assets that align with the company’s brand strategy.

We are looking for quality, so don’t worry if you can’t show quantity just yet. Send us your portfolio or top three design projects that you are most proud of, and rest assured that in your time with us you will have plenty of chances to flex your design skills and create awesome assets like infographics, user interfaces, web & social media banners, digital publications, logos & iconography, internal communications pieces, presentations, photography & imagery, branding projects, some video production & video editing, motion graphics and more.

While your work will have our curiosity, your personal profile will have our attention. We are looking for someone who is agile, focused, curious, reliable, delivery oriented, has a great professional attitude with solid communication skills (verbal and writing) and loves to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools.

We know technical skills can be learned over time (and Irdeto will provide plenty of learning resources!), so we won’t nitpick over a boring laundry list of software and skills.

That being said, we do have some basic requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or equivalent

  • Average knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office (mainly PowerPoint & Word)

  • * While we are flexible with our work from home policy, the candidate is required to work 50% of the time on-site and must reside in the Netherlands throughout the whole duration of the internship.

Nice to have:

  • You can handle a camera and have a good sense of frame, composition, etc.

  • You are familiar with Canva

  • You have interest in UX/UI design

  • You know how to put together a simple video edit

What you can expect from us:

Our people and culture are the heart of our business, and our values of Trust, Accountability, Agility, and Innovation inform what we do, and how we work. We believe in investing in our talented employees and promoting collaboration, creativity and innovation, health, and well-being across our global workforce.

In addition to competitive remuneration and extensive benefits we offer:

  • An international and multicultural environment where diversity and inclusivity are celebrated and embraced.

  • Professional educational opportunities and training program.

  • Volunteer Day.

  • State of the art office space including canteen, onsite gym and more.

  • On the job coaching and mentoring.

  • Casual Friday? Casual every day!

Irdeto encourages applications from people with disabilities, as we provide accommodation on request of the candidates that take part in all aspects of the selection processes.

Welcome to Irdeto!
Irdeto is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
