IMO Health is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growth engine/startup Non-Provider Sales Team, an area of heavy investment that reflects our commitment to growth and the future of IMO. This individual contributor role is pivotal in driving the acquisition of new business, with a strong focus on Healthcare IT organizations poised to benefit from our cutting-edge clinical data intelligence solutions. This role will play a critical part in establishing IMO as a leader in data quality.
 
As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of targeting and penetrating new organizations, particularly within the Healthcare IT sector (EHR companies, data analytics & AI companies, population health companies, etc.). We need a hunter who enjoys problem-solving and consultative selling, as no two deals are the same. You will identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, crafting and executing strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth of our market presence and revenue. 

Success in this role demands more than a proven sales record; it requires a pioneering approach. You will lead the charge in launching new SaaS and AI products that address complex data quality challenges across the healthcare industry.

  • Drive growth by targeting and securing new business opportunities within healthcare IT organizations, effectively positioning IMO Health’s solutions 
  • Boost revenue by developing and executing strategic sales plans that achieve and surpass financial targets 
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to expand IMO Health’s client base and strengthen market presence 

  • WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
  • Master the art of introducing and scaling disruptive healthcare IT solutions, gaining insights into the intricacies of market entry and expansion. 
  • Refine your ability to craft and execute sales strategies that align innovative products with client needs, driving both growth and market leadership. 

  • WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Identify and Secure New Opportunities: Proactively identify, qualify, and advance new sales opportunities within HIT organizations, ensuring the successful closure of deals to drive revenue growth. 
  • Manage Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales plans for IMO’s data quality products, including data normalization and NLP/AI solutions, to meet and exceed sales targets. 
  • Client Engagement: Built tailored client engagement plans for calls and meetings, focusing on understanding and addressing client needs. 
  • Sales Presentations and Materials: Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and create high-quality collateral that effectively communicates the value of IMO’s solutions. 
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong revenue pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression of opportunities through the sales cycle. 
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Own and maintain accurate business forecasts, providing clear visibility and predictability to sales leadership for effective decision-making. 

  • WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • 5+ years of enterprise-level sales or business development experience, with a focus on SaaS solutions. Expertise in NLP/AI sales is highly desirable. 
  • Proven track record of successfully targeting and developing leads, building and managing pipelines, crafting proposals, and closing high-value accounts to drive subscription-based revenue. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and earn trust across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives. 
  • Ability to leverage data to guide strategy and support decision-making. 
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a strong ability to manage tasks independently in a dynamic environment. 
  • Skilled in creatively addressing challenges and objections with strategic solutions. 
  • Familiar with Salesforce for managing sales activities and tracking metrics.
