WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A Product Manager’s responsibilities are primarily to produce specifications for the development of one or more of the company’s product lines. This position will work closely with customers, customer support and engineering to conceptualize improvements to existing products, or to create brand new products, and write clear specifications that engineers can develop against and QA personnel can test. The Product Manager then acts as a subject matter expert to ensure that the product will meet market expectations. In addition, this position will write specifications for product fixes, will assist in testing the corrected code, and will contribute to the release documentation. Other responsibilities include providing customer training, assisting with troubleshooting customer issues, and performing other customer support-related duties as required.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Planning, developing, and implementing strategies for generating product updates and/or improvements.
  • Creating specifications for product enhancements and fixes, leading daily standups during the development sprints, and participating in testing prior to release.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company’s products to competitors’ products.
  • Overseeing bug fixes and the resolution of customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Providing Ad Hoc customer training, especially for new features.
  • Developing and maintaining solution delivery timelines and plans.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPPA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties.
  • Contributing ideas on ways to resolve problems to serve the customers better and/or improve productivity.
  • Solving problems that are sometimes unstructured and that may require reliance on conceptual thinking.
  • Providing feedback and assistance as needed in developing and improving company processes.
  • Creating training materials, such as demonstration videos.
  • Representing the company professionally and courteously (verbal, written, and in appearance) when interacting with RTSS staff, customers, contractors, and third-party vendors

 WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management in a SaaS environment.
  • 2+ years of experience within the field of clinical research or information technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology,or medical fields. 
  • Must have the ability to understand research concepts and be proficient with navigating and utilizing web-based software applications.
