Job description

The Infrastructure and Cloud Architect designs highly available and geo-diverse Cloud and Infrastructure solutions to support company initiatives. This Infrastructure and Cloud Architect is also responsible for being the lead-role in deploying solution sets, collaborating and developing plans to improve and refresh existing solutions, as well as leading in establishing Cloud/Infrastructure processes and risk management steps.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop architectures and drive implementation of solutions in support of business initiatives including optimization and consolidation of resources in the Cloud and Server infrastructures.
  • Evaluate new technologies and existing infrastructure with a focus on improving stability and customer experience
  • Present technical solution deployment plans to a board of peers within the organization as part of a design review process
  • Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers during environment outages
  • Assist in complex monitoring, troubleshooting and the evolutions of like environments
  • Perform weekly and monthly maintenance activities when required
  • Tier 4 troubleshooting of Cloud/Server trouble tickets and requests
  • Lead security solutions and escalations for the cloud and infrastructure teams
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • B.A. or B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting cloud/server environments and solutions.
  • Prior experience in a lead role on systems/network design and implementation.
  • Understanding of routing protocols and related technologies including BGP, MPLS, NAT, IPSEC,
  • Understanding of data-link protocols and related technologies including CLOS, VCF, VLAN
  • Experience with advanced SNMP and monitoring platforms.
  • Advanced experience with several of the following platforms/solution sets:
  • AWS, Azure, GCP
  • IAM (Okta, Ping, or SecureAuth)
  • WAF
  • Certificate Authorities
  • Windows and Linux based server builds
  • Security
  • Working Knowledge/Practical Skills:
  • MS office Applications, Visio, Excel, Word
  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, OSX
  • Other Skills:
  • Knowledge of data communication concepts and technologies.
  • Strong network problem isolation and resolutions skills.
  • Ability to lead and direct vendors to assist them in their efforts.
  • Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Strong time management and organization.

Salary Range Description
$108,100.00 - $144,000.00 Annual

The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan.
