Job Description

Our top-notch engineering team is looking for experienced technology leaders and consultants with deep expertise in Front-end technologies including React, Apollo, GraphQL, Next. This Principal Front-End Engineer will be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced startup environment where collaboration and innovation are part of the daily experience. You should be passionate about delivering bug free software products. You will focus on mentoring and setting coding best practices for a team of front end engineers developing sophisticated UI applications that are user centric tools that support our ad exchange that delivers hundreds of billions of requests a day.

For the USA - Remote OK, Contract, Contract to Hire, W-2 Full-time or 1099 or Corp-to-Corp engagement models.

In India - Remote OK, This is a full-time opportunity only. Candidates based in Mumbai or vicinity are highly preferable.

Roles and Responsibilities

Mentor and groom onshore/offshore frontend engineers by establishing coding best practices, perform code reviews, set the highest level of code coverage through unit and integration testing
Work with the product team to plan out engineering tasks based on business objectives and requirements
Ensure on-time delivery of quality software solutions while helping to strengthen contemporary UI/UX design, simple usability, reduced workflows and enhanced product security
Architect and lead development effort to build and maintain efficient and scalable service based UI stack
Be a SME in the React codebase and systems on which they work, and clearly understand dependency and interactions with other systems
Collaborate across growing teams including Data science, Ad Serving, Product, Marketing and Sales
Leverage industry best practices including agile methodologies, test automation, CI/CD
Utilize best-in-class policies, architectures, testing frameworks, cloud services and third party vendors

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years professional application development
3+ years leading a frontend engineering team
Exceptional comprehension of:

React + Next, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, HTML5, Typescript Expertise
Git, GitHub, AWS, CI/CD
Apollo, GraphQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
Serverless
JAMstack
Testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress
