The Role:
The Solutions Architect engages with customers to understand their business drivers & workflows, assess application portfolios, and design reliable system architectures. As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, Meazure Learning Sales & Account Management, and other Meazure Learning teams to create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of Meazure Learning services.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Solutions Architect is a very technical role - you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics) and deep in at least two of those areas. On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect will spend most of their day interacting with customer stakeholders, including developers, team leads, engineering directors, and the Meazure Learning Leadership team.
The Responsibilities:
- As a key member of the integrations team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the Meazure Learning platform
- Coordinate with customers, prospects and sales to collect requirements
- Define solution to meet customer business and technical needs
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the Meazure Learning team
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship with decision makers and senior buyers
- Collaborate with internal SMEs (solution engineers, offering, services, etc.) to devise solutions
- Determine technical risk and issues and suggest mitigation options
- Execute solution presentations, demos and facilitate sessions with customers
- Document and share hand-offs to services and review results to track success and usage
- Develop technical overviews/presentations of our solutions
The Desired Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Min 6 years of experience in implementation Rest API integrations
- 2-4 years of education technology domain experience. (Preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience working in implementing LMS integrations using LTI concepts. (Preferred)
- Demonstrated experiences architecting services integrations
- Demonstrated experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end, sometimes simultaneously
- Working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards
- Demonstrated ability to effectively architect solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements while evangelizing integration methodologies and supporting business case justification to C-level executives
- Experience driving technical workshops with technical and business clients to derive value-added services and implementations
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
