Your mission
We are seeking a highly driven Chief of Staff (f/m/d) to join our fast-growing startup at deskbird - on our mission to redefine how the world works.

As the right hand of our founders, particularly the CEO, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to drive high-impact initiatives across the organization, help shape our long-term strategy, and play a critical role in our ambitious growth journey.

This role is ideal for a top-tier candidate with a background in management consulting, investment banking (M&A), or an impactful role in a high-growth startup.

In this role you will
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Act on behalf of the CEO/Founders to drive cross-functional strategic projects with high importance and urgency that align with deskbird’s mission and growth objectives
  • Launch New Products and Verticals: Take ownership for the validation of new product launches, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring successful market entry and laying the foundation for scaling
  • Serve as CEO's Liaison: Represent and extend the CEO’s influence across the company and with key external stakeholders, fostering alignment and strong working relationships.
  • Support Day-to-Day Operations: Assist the CEO in daily decision-making, priority management, and optimization of leadership initiatives
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Identify and address process bottlenecks, continuously enhancing productivity across all layers of the organization
What you need to be successful
  • Early Career Growth: 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as top-tier consulting, investment banking, or a high-performing startup
  • Outstanding Drive and Commitment: Ability to execute on multiple high-impact initiatives and drive measurable results across them
  • Strong Business Acumen: Strong founder mentality, entrepreneurial drive and business acumen to have fast impact on the launch of new products and verticals
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and the ability to solve complex problems in dynamic environments
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High Adaptability: Ability to navigate uncertainty and pivot quickly in a fast-evolving business landscape
  • Languages: Fluency in English and German is required
  • Work location: Remote possible, with a preference for a base in Munich (we have an office in Munich)
