Job description

Elementary Speech Language Pathologist 


Location: Demorest, Georgia 


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated partially remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position will require 2 on site service days with 3 fully virtual service days. As an SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech and language disorders, as well as cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.



Responsibilities:

  • Conducting evaluations and assessments of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Providing ongoing therapy and support to individuals to improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Monitoring and documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals.




Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.

  • Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
