  • Technical Skills:

    • Deep expertise in at least one of the following technologies: C, C++, C#.

    • Familiarity with healthcare domain standards, regulations, and challenges.

    • Ability to follow and provide improvement to the Design Control processes from the Quality Management System in place

  • Leadership & Management Skills:

    • Exceptional people management skills with a passion for developing and mentoring teams.

    • Strong techno-managerial skills with the ability to guide teams in both technical and managerial aspects.

    • Excellent stakeholder management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction.

    • Provide synthetic status reports of project progress, achievements and issues to all stakeholders

    • Ability to build meaningful KPIs and insightful analysis

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.

    • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • People Leadership:

    • Lead, inspire, and manage a team of at least 30 technology experts across multiple Technologies contributing to different products and solutions from Businesses.

    • Foster a positive and high-performance culture, ensuring team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company’s vision.

    • Oversee performance management, professional development, and career growth for team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.

  • Technical Leadership:

    • Guide the team in the adoption and implementation of best practices in software engineering, development processes, and quality assurance.

    • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to team members, helping them navigate complex technical challenges.

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

  • Project & Resource Management:

    • Collaborate with various teams to understand project demands, resource requirements, and future projections.

    • Develop and maintain production pipeline status and plan, team indicators and dashboards

    • Identify risk areas and determine and implement mitigation actions for the identified risks.

    • Strategically allocate resources to ensure seamless project execution, aligning top talent with projects that require their expertise.

    • Ensure timely delivery of projects with the highest standards of quality, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.

    • Act as a liaison between the team and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.

    • Drive customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet the needs and expectations of the business.

  • Supplier Management:

    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key device Vendors.

    • Drive discussions with field engineers and sales to define projects priorities and scopes

    • Coordinate with local logistics to facilitate shipping of medical devices to India

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

    • Contribute to the strategic direction of the department, aligning team goals with the overall business objectives.

    • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain a high-performing team capable of delivering complex software solutions.

    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technology and innovation.

Minimum education and experience:

  • Total experience of 10 years of which 5+ years should be in project management experience, preferably in the healthcare, automotive, or aeronautics industry & 5+ years of technical background in software development or testing

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written communication

  • BS degree required (Computer Science/Engineering preferred)

  • Good knowledge of at least one development language (C, C++,  C#, VBA) is a plus

  • PMP certification through a PMI® Certification Board Center or Prince 2 Certification

  • Good knowledge of a Project management software is a plus

  • French knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
