Join Pitney Bowes as a Workday HCM Integration Specialist
Job Location – Pune or Remote

Impact

Workday HCM Integration Specialist who will be part of the Global HR IT Technology team. This position will act as the designer for major global systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. The Integration Developer will be responsible for all phases of the integration lifecycle. To be successful in this role, this position must have a deep knowledge of Workday's integration technologies and toolsets and the HR Processes. History of serving in technical, customer-facing roles responsible for gathering requirements and designing solutions. Demonstrates ability coordinating and collaborating with global cross functional partners.  Demonstrates strong project management skills and will act as the liaison between IT, the business, HR, and vendors.  Proven experience creating and documenting effective business requirements, processes, and Technical Design Documents. Provide on-call support for production and non-production operations.

The Job

  • Manage all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support/maintenance for Integrations for HR Applications.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of best practices for delivery of stable, reliable and highly available solutions.
  • Promote effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and Business Partners.
  • Define project tasks and coordinate completion to ensure estimates are thorough and accurate.
  • Communicate status of projects and initiatives to middle and senior level management.
  • Manage, Develop and support Workday integrations, custom reports, and dashboards
  • Design, build, test, deploy and maintain integration solutions within HR related domains (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, and Payroll)
  • Build complex integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio
  • Monitor integration run jobs and error logs to ensure all integrations are working properly
  • Monitor and help resolve the issues raised in the Ticketing system on a timely manner
  • Perform risk analysis, lead key functional stakeholders and vendors through impact analysis, release enhancements, change request, and product upgrades
  • Support Workday bi-annual release cycles and regression testing of integrations. Analyzes Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to existing integrations
  • Analyze integration issues to outline trends and create action plans to resolve issue in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain detailed technical specifications. Develop test plans and test integrations through unit testing and UAT

Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualification - B.Tech/B.E./ M.Tech or MCA with good understanding of Human Resources

The role requires a talented self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and the following skills:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workday Integration
  • This role requires close coordination with the internal IT and HRIS team
  • Able to handle complex analytical tasks by working directly with business analysts to translate functional design into technical specifications.
  • Able to grasp requirements quickly and anticipate potential future requirements. Capable of offering alternate viable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written including ability to conduct formal and informal presentations and workshops to all levels of management.
  • Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations a strong plus
  • Strong experience with Workday Integration tool
  • Strong knowledge of Workday business process framework, Workday security, advanced and composite reporting and Payroll Integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams and individuals at various levels throughout the organization.
  • Comfortable working with constant deadlines with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
