If so, Guardian is seeking an experienced, results-focused, and energetic Web and SEO Marketing Manager to support the Guardian Well website, Retail SEO & funnel management and Dental provider recruitment (SEO & site experience).
Web and SEO Marketing Manager you will be responsible for consulting on, supporting and executing on a comprehensive digital strategy that encompasses strategy for website experience and search engine optimization (SEO). Your role will be pivotal in driving the organization's online visibility through search, driving brand awareness, enhancing user experience to increase engagement and conversions, and achieving business objectives. This role requires strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment, business acumen, collaboration, prioritization, a passion for our customers, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
You are:
- A web and technical SEO expert who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. You are well-organized and have a collaborative and flexible personality who adapts easily to change
- Have experience auditing sites for functionality and consumer experience – including e-commerce experience
- Understand the consumer experience from a full funnel perspective and have experience making recommendations, executing, and reporting on success
- You understand the impact that SEO has on business results and can explain technical tactics to businesses leaders
- Responsible for management of internal stakeholders, acting as an internal email consultant on best practices
- Comfortable with subject matter experts, executives, and peers. You can collaborate across departments to transform conceptual thinking into executable insights and inform site optimization
- Excellent at communication (written and verbal) and have strong executive presence
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of web and technical SEO experience.
- Experience working with platforms required; specifically Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Google Analytics (GA4) and SEO Tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) experience required
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS and site architecture, as well as the ability to audit e-commerce sites good to have
- Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud good to have
- Experience managing clients either internally or in an agency environment
- Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- High energy with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment
- Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based on data analytics
- Demonstrated understanding of web site optimization best practices
- Skilled in marketing testing, data analysis, and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves’ to get things done
- Experience working in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
You will:
- Support Guardian web properties and the SEO program to align to business goals and objectives and ensure our essential keywords are being found through SERP and are reaching page 1
- Be a strategic partner in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and on-page optimization to boost website visibility and authority.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve better results.
- Align with the business on SEO goals and needs for Retail and Dental Network Recruitment
- Work with agency partners
- Work with the content teams on aligning the recommended SEO articles to their programs and campaigns and to ensure language is on brand
- Produce and establish a reporting cadence so teams are aware of their programs
- Review and pull together a comprehensive toolset which will allow us to measure, lookup, and report on important keywords and consumer needs that we can focus on
Website Digital Strategy and user experience:
- Provide strategic planning and execution for digital campaigns on our websites – including e-commerce functionality on site, dental recruitment site experience & GuardianWell site experience – to reduce site abandonment and improve funnel management
- Work with the creative team to create new features/functionality on web experiences are designed to reflect the brand identity and provide an exceptional user experience.
- Work closely with product on enhancing website performance, navigation, and responsiveness.
- Help connect and align the digital consumer journey across the various web properties within Guardian to ensure a consistent and seamless experience
- Work with data and analytics on building reporting dashboards to help easily see page performance metric
- Recommend web page optimizations to meet goals/objectives for page with utilization of data and best practices
- Manage Segmentation/Personalization for campaigns on strategy, execution/monitoring and reporting on recommended next steps to the business
Location
- The primary location for this position is Hudson Yards, NYC or Holmdel, NJ with a requirement for 2 days in the office each week.
Travel
- 10% Travel required for this position to attend quarterly in-person meetings at Hudson Yards in New York, NY

Salary Range
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
