As a Treasury Control & Systems Expert you will join us to enhance and streamline both the Middle Office and Back Office functions, with a strong emphasis on technology and systems improvements. Join our 3 person treasury team to lead back-office operations, playing a crucial role in our upcoming ERP implementation and treasury transformation projects.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Treasury Control & Systems Expert at Qonto, you will:
• Develop and maintain Treasury core system architecture, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing operational workflows to improve treasury operations;
• Oversee the integration of financial platforms and the TMS with broader company systems to facilitate seamless data flow and process automation, including integration with a new ERP software and Qonto Core Banking System;
• Collaborate closely with IT and Tech teams, as well as external vendors as needed;
• Develop and implement analytical frameworks by monitoring treasury metrics and performance, ensuring compliance with controls and reporting standards;
• Lead and optimize cash forecasting processes to ensure accurate liquidity management, and conduct comprehensive gap analysis;
• Lead the treasury technology and systems function, identifying and deploying innovative and best-in-class treasury management systems (TMS) functionalities and tools;
• Collaborate closely with Treasury, ALM and Risk teams to strengthen strategies and controls through detailed reporting and data insights.

Steve has a Master's in Banking and Corporate Finance and has honed his skills in treasury roles at corporate companies like Valeo, Keolis, and OGF. Joining Qonto in 2021 as a Senior Treasurer, he quickly advanced to Treasury Lead due to his expertise and leadership.

Steve's extensive experience in treasury roles across corporate and payment institution industries will be a great asset.
🏅About You
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a treasury advisory role, with at least 3 years focused on treasury systems integration or controlling. Prior experience in the banking or payment institution industry is a plus;
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS, KYRIBA would be a plus) integration with ERP software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Metabase, Tableau…). Experience with automation tools and programming/scripting languages is advantageous;
• Leadership: Proven leadership and project management experience, capable of leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interprete treasury data and provide actionable insights;
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capacity for creative problem-solving and process optimization;
• Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
