Job description

The Business Development Executive, XaaS / FSI role is responsible for the development and management of a sell through strategy for our strategic Federal System Integrator (FSI) partners to enable growth in the programs business. They will be measured on opportunity identification, pipeline sharing, partner pursuits and overall growth through FSI partners.

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Drive new XaaS pipeline through FSI’s.
  • Take these deals through the RR gate review process.
  • Manage technical and financial solution to match customer requirements.
  • Develop FSI partner strategy which expands our FSI partner pursuits and deepens our strategic FSI partner engagements.
  • Manage and execute FSI partners strategy to strategically engage FSI partners in capture pursuits, generate joint pipeline, and ensure FSI partners reciprocate in their pursuits.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Capture to drive FSI partner sell through Strategy.
  • Determine which FSI partners best fill Red River’s capability gaps across the different socioeconomic business categories.
  • Develop FSI partner engagement strategy which highlights Red River’s strengths to drive expanded consideration for partnership in partner lead pursuits.
  • Participate in corporate initiatives and establish strong working relationships with cross functional peers.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure a “one Red River” experience for partners and customers.
  • Participate in industry groups and attend industry networking events, as necessary.
  • Participate in the Business Development organization to assist in development of a strong pipeline of new programs.
  • Participate in capture and pre-capture to assist in improving the strength of our pursuit teams.
  • Other business duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to network and expand partnerships.
  • Previous experience with Sales and Business Development.
  • Experience with pursuit of technology programs with familiarity with teaming agreements, proposal development, pricing, and subcontracting
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Familiarity with full Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ yrs of experience working at FSI’s preferred.
  • Location: DC Metro preferred.
  • Program delivery experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to influence others.
  • Organized with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of government programs
  • Proficiency in Office 365

Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):

This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers and clients throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
