Collaboration Manager

This role will require the job holder to work very closely with one of our most important customers, on site in Leeds 3 to 4 days per week. There will also be opportunities to connect with the wider Collaboration team at our Chiswick Park offices twice per month.

As a core team member of the Collaboration team for pladis you will own the end to end order placement to shelf edge for your relevant customer.

What will this role achieve?

You will be the main customer contact at Supply Chain Manager/Analyst level; working closely with S&OP, Commercial, CARE and the customer’s supply chain/commercial teams to build a smooth flow of business between customers, pladis.

 What will be your key results?

  • Management of COGS for specific account – avoid changes that add cost and look to implement changes to save money to pladis.
  • Acquire and maintain an outstanding view from customer for collaboration. Engage customer in end to end walkthroughs with key partners from cross-functional teams
  • Achieve a top 5 finish for Supply chain & logistics + Customer service in the AGS
  • Work closely with S&OP, commercial and CARE, to achieve customer’s OSA and Inbound service targets
  • Develop positive relationships with internal commercial teams continually pushing a shared agenda and forecasting processes
  • Capture intelligence on customer’s supply chain strategy and competitors to ensure we continue to lead the way for collaboration within customer
  • Be the customer champion within Padis Vice versa, be the face of pladis within the customer, championing our business
  • Improve internal forecast accuracy by influencing customer orders in line with sales planner forecast, and by working closely with the customer and sharing back data
  • Pro-active management of supply issues on customer account - offer contextual communication to key partners and helps to deliver recovery plans
  • Work as a close team to successfully execute NPD launches, range reviews and other bespoke customer activity.

Crucial

  • Proven communication, and strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to think creatively to solve problems
  • Natural people person with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Excellent customer focus
  • Confident in presenting to all levels
  • Proven track record in dealing with ambiguity and conflicting priorities
  • Able to travel occasionally with overnight stays

Preferred

  • Degree qualified is preferable but not crucial
  • Proven experience of working with retailers/discounters within supply chain and working within FMCG for another supplier

What will the interview process be?

  • 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
  • 2nd stage interview – 60 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set
