St. Luke's Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke's Telehealth Transfer team is responsible for supporting patient care to a higher level of care by connecting providers for consults, transfers, admissions, and placement of patients. Has the authority to enact decisions on an immediate basis that promotes best patient care.

What you can expect from this role
- Transfer Center support is available 24/7
Composed of both clinical and nonclinical personnel to ensure connection of providers to the appropriate location with required physician specialties
Average call volume is 17,000 calls a month which includes an average of 2,400 new patient encounters
No direct interaction with patients occurs in this role
Teamwork, communication, and phone etiquette are key pieces for success in this department
- Adept typing skills required
- On site position in high tech facility; NOT REMOTE work
- Part-time (0.6 FTE), swing shift opening 1100-2300, 12-hour shifts. Rotating weekends/holidays required.
- Certification pay available
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
- Experience: 3+ year RN Experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
