Our Solutioning Center of Excellence within the Managed Services Platform will provide you direct interaction with senior leadership and other key stakeholders. You will work with cross-functional teams to execute on priority growth initiatives within this fast-growing platform.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:
- Leading teams to generate a vision, to establish direction and motivate members, as well as create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, to encourage improvement and innovation;
- Displaying thought leader-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in payroll policies and practices at a global level;
- Exhibiting considerable payroll operations, implementation, and/or managed services experience and conveys process improvement skills;
- Demonstrating experience with Payroll technology platforms (ADP, SAP, Oracle, UKG, etc);
- Managing global payroll operations, establishing accurate and timely payments, in compliance with federal, state, and local laws for each location regarding withholdings and deductions;
- Utilizing thought leader-level abilities and/or a proven record of success in managing efforts to identify and address client needs;
- Understanding business problems in the form of functional and technical requirements while using innovative thought leadership in the creation of solutions;
- Understanding and knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, labor laws, and tax requirements to establish compliance;
- Coordinating with client on with payroll inquiries and audits from federal, state, and local taxing authorities;
- Working closely with business teams and key stakeholders, both management and operational, to establish industry-leading processes for payroll and related programs, including effective internal controls and automation of workflows to enable efficient, accurate, and timely processing of payroll;
- Managing the implementation of new tools/automation, financial controls, policies, and leading industry practices across the functional group to include process improvements and efficiencies related to payroll deliverables;
- Developing relationships with a diverse, cross-functional group of stakeholders across a global network to drive and influence transformational change and solutions;
- Serving as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing outstanding support, meeting the expectations of client groups, and achieving common goals;
- Working with accounting to assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting duties related to payroll;
- Working closely with PwC leaders and clients to interpret results, identify trends, and develop/implement strategies to combat issues;
- Establishing and maintaining pay policies, payroll calendars, checklists, tax deadlines, and procedural documentation;
- Making recommendations and implementing processes to enable cross-border payroll process;
- Managing a team of payroll professionals in different regions, establishing high performance and collaboration;
- Exceling in a virtual/global team, working virtually and navigating complex international and matrixed organizations;
- Fostering an environment where team members can share feedback, suggestions, and process improvements;
- Developing and sustaining trusted client relationships, understanding a client's business and technology to identify, pursue, and ultimately obtain additional consulting opportunities;
- Acquiring knowledge of current business issues to deliver results and develop process improvement strategies;
- Creating a positive work environment, working with team members while meeting client expectations;
- Encouraging improvement by offering meaningful feedback in a timely manner and keeping leadership informed of progress;
- Displaying proven communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Communicating project updates, negotiating contracts, and presenting business proposals to clients and stakeholders; and,
- Working with multicultural teams in multiple locations.

The salary range for this position is: $142,500 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
