Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Propert and Casulaty Claims Adjuster to join our team in south western Ontario. This is a hybrid role with a combination of work from home and field work. Candidates must reside in the Windsor/Essex, London/ Middlesex or Sarnia regions to handle field claims in person.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle property and casualty claims. The candidate will participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
Requirements:
- 2 years of technical experience in an insurance claims environment, with strong knowledge of property claims is required. Knowledge of commercial lines will be considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in an insurance related field working towards full license and CIP designation is an asset
- Proficient in CMS, including maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve records
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
