Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-lines Claims Adjuster in join our team remotely in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates property (commercial and residential) and casualty claims through loss investigation and negotiates settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
- Interviewing claimants and witnesses
- Obtaining official documents
- Comparing claims information with evidence
- Determination of liability
- Makes offer to claimants
- Issue cheque
- Dispose of salvage
- Pursue subrogation
- Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files, including presentation of evidence at legal proceedings
- Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
- Work with manager to maintain client relations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years functional and technical experience in an insurance environment
- Post Secondary education in an insurance related field considered an asset
- Licensed or working towards CIP designation
- Experience in road adjusting including the investigation and detailed reporting of both property and casualty claims
- Working knowledge of Xactimate and XactAnalysis required
- Bilingual in French would be considered an asset
- Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with opportunity for career growth
