We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join the team at Modus Create.

About you

Experience Level: Senior Level

As our first Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and go-to-market plans for our Confluence and Jira apps.

This role is hands-on, multi-disciplinary and wide ranging. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to understand what we’re building, why we’re building it, and help us in communicating this out to our current customers and the general market.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Defining go-to-market strategies for our Jira and Confluence apps
  • Educating the company, our prospects, customers, and partners on what our products do, use cases they help with, and how they are differentiated
  • Create and maintain our automated emails to customers evaluating and using our products
  • Create content to be used in other channels such as blogs, whitepapers, customer stories, release notes, community forums, and social media posts.
  • Talk directly with customers and work with our VP to help feed learnings from customers back into our product prioritization and roadmap
  • Developing product positioning, packaging, pricing, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with the target audience and differentiates our products in the market
  • Identify events for sponsorship or attendance, develop targeted content like booth messaging and collateral, and attend key events in person

Sales enablement

  • Creating and maintaining sales enablement materials
  • Collaborating with sales and partners for event participation, including creating demo presentations

Qualifications

  • You should already have experience in a product marketing function in a SaaS company, preferably B2B
  • You believe that marketing should be measurable and have a history of demonstrating how this applied in past roles
  • If you already know the Atlassian products Jira and Confluence and the Atlassian Ecosystem, that would be great. However, it is more important that you are familiar with technical products and how to market them to technical audiences
  • You should have experience in launching new products or features, developing positioning, pricing, sales channels, and promotion strategies. Bonus points if you did this through channel relationships.
  • Excellent team communication skills and strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions round off your profile
  • Required that you have expertise  in Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Wordpress. 
  • Nice to have knowledge in Ad buying, Jira, and Confluence.
