ACI Learning is a leading SaaS provider of audit, cybersecurity, and IT training solutions, empowering individuals and organizations worldwide to improve their technical capabilities and their cybersecurity with compelling and comprehensive training. We are extending our leadership position with myACI, a complete SaaS Learning Platform that goes far beyond audit, cyber and IT training to provide organizational and individual knowledge assessment, analytics and training delivery with integrated AI to understand capabilities and skill gaps for organizations.

We are seeking a VP, AI Strategy & Operations, a senior leader who is responsible for driving our strategy and execution in applying multiple AI technologies to our products and to our internal business operations. The VP will be responsible for keeping the company leadership updated on the latest developments in AI, actively identifying opportunities to apply those technologies in our products and company and partnering with business leaders within the company to drive implementation. Those opportunities will span AI features built into products we use, purpose-built 3^rd party AI apps and building in-house applications on the leading Generative AI platforms. We believe that AI is different and that it can make our products better for our customers and it can make our team members dramatically more productive. You will lead that charge.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and part of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, you will partner with multiple business leaders to identify and drive application of AI technology to improve our customer’s experiences and to increase company speed and productivity. We’re looking for someone who is pragmatic and has a strong track record of applying AI technology to real-world customer and business opportunities. This is a hands-on and initially an individual contributor role rather than a theoretical strategy position. We will continue to invest as we see successful results.

12 Month KPIs

• Create a list of opportunities to apply AI with estimated time, resources needed and a quantitative impact KPIs to discuss with the Executive Leadership Team within 30 days. Doing so will involve meeting with business leaders across the company to uncover opportunities. Update this list with new opportunities on a quarterly basis.

• Deliver implementation plans to initially apply AI to at least three of the opportunities from the list above. The opportunities will be a mix of quick, lower ROI and longer-term, higher ROI situations. Deliver those implementation plans within 60 days.
  
  
• Implement at least 10 successful AI applications within the first 12 months with measurable improvement KPIs (ROI).
  
  
• Partner with the Chief Product & Technology Officer and our Product Team to identify opportunities to apply Gen AI in our products for the benefit of customers on an ongoing basis. The VP will have the opportunity to participate in all Product overviews and roadmap discussions.
  
  
• Create an ongoing process to keep ACI Learning team members informed and educated on the latest developments in Generative AI within 90 days.
  
  
• Design and deliver training on specific areas that show the Art of the Possible with the application of AI. This KPI is to be tackled after the critical ones above. Successful deployments can be used as case studies to share with the team. Some of these presentations will also be part of our Board Meetings and the VP will be expected to present them.
  
  

What’ll You need (Requirements)

• 10+ years of Business Leadership in an operational role in a mid-to-large size company with a global customer base. Experience in a high-growth SaaS/software business is strongly preferred.
  
  

• Experience in Analytics, IT, Operations or similar data-intensive business discipline is a strong plus.
  
  

• Direct experience working cross functionally with multiple business groups including Finance, HR, Marketing, Product, Sales and Support is critical. Your understanding of these functions, their goals and how they operate is critical to applying AI successfully.
  
  

• Demonstrated technical acumen in working with Generative AI technology in a hands-on manner. You should be comfortable diving into new technology, figuring it out on your own and applying it in a business setting.
  
  

• Strong verbal and written communication skills including creating and presenting business plans to C-level executives and Board Members is required.
  
  

• Great curiosity, a systems thinking approach, a love for diving into the details and the ability to build collaborative cross-group relationships are all important characteristics for the successful candidate.
  
  

• Prior experience writing software application code is a strong plus.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline is required.
  
  

Candidates should expect to present prior examples of how they have applied Generative AI technologies to business problems with measurable impact KPIs.

We are a fully remote company. This position can be based anywhere in the US.
