Our team is passionate about empowering individuals with high-quality learning experiences, and were looking for an innovative Moodle LMS Developer to help us take our Learning Management System to the next level.

Position Overview
As our Moodle LMS Developer, youll play a key role in transforming our Moodle-based Learning Management System into a powerful, user-friendly platform that enhances the educational experience for our clients. Youll work closely with our instructional design and development teams to customize Moodle, improve its functionality, and ensure it meets the needs of our learners and instructors alike.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & Enhance: Customize Moodle features, modules, and plugins to optimize functionality and improve user experience based on feedback and identified requirements.


Integrate: Build and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and add-ons to expand Moodles capabilities, aligning with our educational objectives.


Optimize User Experience: Streamline navigation, user flows, and overall platform accessibility to ensure a seamless experience for all users.


Maintain & Troubleshoot: Monitor the LMS for performance, conduct regular updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security of the platform.


Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams including instructional designers, curriculum developers, and tech support to understand requirements and translate them into effective LMS features.


Support & Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, assist with user training, and provide ongoing support for LMS improvements.

Qualification

Experience: 3+ years of experience as an LMS Developer, with a focus on Moodle development and customization.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Moodles plugin ecosystem.


Integration Expertise: Experience with integrating Moodle with external applications and APIs.


Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges.


Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Bonus Skills: Experience with UX/UI design, knowledge of SCORM or other e-learning standards, and familiarity with LMS performance optimization techniques.
