This is a remote position.

Overview:
We are a boutique brand with a distinct identity and aesthetic, seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our online presence. This role focuses primarily on Instagram, with the potential to expand to other platforms in order to grow our reach and engage our community. If you have a passion for storytelling, a strong eye for visuals, and a deep understanding of social media, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
• Platform Management: Primarily manage and curate the brand’s Instagram account, with the possibility of expanding to additional social media platforms (such as TikTok, Pinterest, or Facebook) to drive reach and brand visibility.
• Content Planning and Creation: Develop and execute a consistent social media strategy, using a brand mood board to ensure all posts align with our aesthetic. Create visually engaging and on-brand content, including images, stories, and captions, that resonates with our target audience.
• Community Engagement: Respond to direct messages, comments, and collaboration requests across all platforms, ensuring timely and genuine engagement that fosters a strong brand community.
• Storytelling and Brand Identity: Deeply understand the brand’s unique identity and values to authentically convey our story through curated visuals, captions, and community interactions.
• Content Scheduling and Review: Develop a content calendar and prepare future posts for review by management. Ensure content flows well and aligns with ongoing campaigns and brand objectives.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram, for boutique or lifestyle brands.
• Strong visual eye and ability to curate content that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and mood board.
• Experience in content creation and basic graphic design or photo editing skills (e.g., using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools).
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with followers and potential partners, brand collaborations, UGC, etc
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple platforms.

Hours: Part-Time, flexible with availability to respond to messages and engagement on time.
