About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Advisor to join our growing team!
Position Summary:
The Senior Marketing Advisor will report to the Manager of Marketing Affinity Deployment and play a vital role in campaign planning, lead production, and deployment coordination for belairdirect's Affinity groups and white label portfolio. This position encompasses a variety of growth initiatives across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, and both printed and digital advertising. The Senior Advisor will manage relationships with internal and external partners and represent the marketing team in various committees and cross-functional meetings. The role requires quick problem-solving abilities to adapt to changes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management:
Oversee the production and deployment of marketing campaigns and client communications (emails, direct mail, and advertising) targeting customers and prospects within the belairdirect Affinity and white label portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
Proactively lead projects and adapt swiftly to changes, collaborating with internal teams (Data, IT, Operations, Brand) and external partners (print and mail house, creative agency, postal provider) for effective implementation.
Participate in and represent the team during Affinity growth planning and performance evaluation forums, offering insights and recommendations for continuous optimization and outperformance.
Review and manage approval processes with internal teams and Affinity groups.
Proofread and approve new marketing materials to ensure they are of high quality and error-free.
Handle purchase orders and invoice processing, tracking expenses to adhere to the Affinity production budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in email marketing, direct mail marketing, or other marketing domains.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Demonstrated collaborative and relationship-building abilities.
Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership qualities and strong teamwork skills.
Proactivity, striving for excellence, and attention to detail.
A mindset that challenges the status quo and fosters innovation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Cloud.
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
Bilingualism (French / English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
