We are seeking a Temporary - Multicultural Senior Content Writer, Performance Creative. The duration of this role is ASAP - End of November 2024, with a possibility to extend, approximately 20 hours per week. You might be the perfect fit if you are passionate about digital media and the power of storytelling. You will report to the Content Director, Performance Creative and collaborate with our internal partners in Client Services, Social Media, SEO, Display, Search and Strategy to develop dynamic creative solutions that drive business performance for our partners. As a Senior Content Writer, you will:

  • Be proficient in English and Spanish, as there is a large multicultural market for the client, a global home furnishing brand.
  • Develop creative and captivating copy for campaigns, ensuring it resonates authentically with the Spanish-Mexican market.
  • Stay informed about cultural trends, linguistic nuances, and preferences within the Mexican market, incorporating these insights into all written content.
  • Be able to modify writing style, tone, and language to suit the cultural context of the Spanish-Mexican market, maintaining sensitivity and inclusivity in all communications.

This role partners with Art Directors and helps maintain the creative intent and integrity throughout the entire process. From creative strategy, concept, presentation, approval, and execution, the Senior Content Writer will have a hand in shaping and delivering inspiring work while being diplomatic and solution-oriented with internal partners. The ideal candidate will understand the balance between thoughtful and groundbreaking creative that connects strategically with all audiences across all channels. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate feedback and continuously refine copy based on performance metrics and market insights within the Spanish -Mexican context.

While you will often work with Content Directors, Content Strategists, Art Directors and Copywriters, the ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Also work independently to develop strategic and creative content.
  • Develop and maintain brand voice, ensuring consistency and authenticity across all communication channels, especially those targeted at the Spanish-speaking audiences.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of SEO and how to incorporate SEO keywords into content to optimize search.
  • Work with existing assets to reimagine, scale, and repurpose across channels.
  • Understand the nuances of digital media channels, including but not limited to social channels, website/UX, YouTube, and SEO-centric video.
  • Take content from initial outlines through final execution on time, and on budget.
  • Present and sell in creative work to clients/team members/internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years creative experience on an advertising, content marketing, or digital media team.

• Proficient in English and Spanish, as campaigns and concepts will be created for multicultural markets.

• Category experience in Communications. Additional experience in home goods, furniture, and ecommerce is a plus.

• Know how to execute high-performing content in social media, organic and paid.

• Ability to incorporate feedback and take/give clear direction.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

• Impeccable organizational skills and ability to work independently, manage multiple work streams, and deliver on tight deadlines.

• Relentless desire to stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.

• Proven ability to collaborate successfully with design and marketing.

• Ability and eagerness to grow and manage a team.

Additional Information:

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is $32.69-$53.07 per hour. Hourly pay is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. 

TEMP employees are eligible for paid holidays as outlined on the dentsu 2024 holiday schedule, in addition to safe and sick time. 

This is a Temporary, W2 role on dentsu payroll.
