Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Sector Business Executive to lead the growth of strategic accounts in the region. Your goal will be to achieve revenue targets via active engagements on selected opportunities, build a productive pipeline and secure satisfaction and renewal of existing subscriptions. You Will own the development and implementation of a regional plan to enhance large corporate sales. 


You will be responsible for managing a reliable pipeline of opportunities. establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key companies and clients in the region, building customized sales and negotiation strategies.

You are expected to build long-term, strategic relationships with the business’s key accounts. 


  

Main Responsibilities:

    • Build and deepen executive relationships with public sector customers
    • Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating a relevant value proposition to potential customers
    • Responsible for Public Sector Revenue, including upsell and renewal targets.
    • Lead discussion around strategy and cost for adapting commercial products to the government vertical and creating new products.
    • Own the resulting strategy and its high level execution;
    • Own relationships for key accounts to ensure success of key pilot projects;
    • Responsible for creation, monitoring and review of business development activities around selected accounts to ensure KPI achievement, forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
    • Creates and nurtures a professional network with customers, partners and other influencers.
    • Identifies opportunities for further growth in the territory and collaborates actively with other sales areas. 
    • Drives deal closure by personal involvement in larger and complex opportunities assigned.
    • Reporting on sales progress throughout the year; identification of deviations from plans agreed and actively engaging in measures to deliver goals agreed to.


Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in Language Learning sales roles
  • Proven background of closing complex sales cycles in the public sector
  • +10 years experience in sales and contract negotiations for deal of more than 100K
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong organization skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Languages: Spanish & English
