The Senior IT Internal Auditor will be responsible for leading/participating in ITGC, IT Security and Operational Audits with the primary mission of ensuring high quality financial reporting and appropriate internal control. As the Senior IT Auditor you should possess a strong knowledge of auditing principles and procedures with excellent analytical and organizational skills. This role can be remote, with a preference for a hybrid schedule based out of our in Little Rock, Arkansas or Irvine, CA offices.
This position will report directly to the Internal Audit Manager.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a key member of the Internal Audit team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Evaluate Information technology (IT) processes and systems by evaluation of control risk/gaps and providing management and process owners with recommendations for improvements to policies, procedures, and practices.
Perform risk and control assessments.
Lead and participate in the auditing process of IT Governance and security operational audits.
Perform IT general and application controls (ITGC) testing and documents results.
Conduct IT operational audits and reviews of systems, application, and IT processes.
Conduct IT security audits (e.g. network, server, application, and databases) including if security vulnerabilities are properly identified and mitigated.
Interact with management to gather necessary information as required for each audit.
Draft audit comments and report issues to support findings identified during the audit.
Follow-up on internal and external audit findings.
Develop on-going positive relationships with the IT department management team.
Ensure timely completion of audits and submission of reports to the IA Manager and/or VP Internal audit.
Perform other consulting, investigative, and/or job-related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Audit, Security or related field or 5 years of equivalent professional work experience.
5 years of prior relevant audit experience, preferably including SOX ITGC and IT operational audits (system implementation, security risk management, server security, etc.).
Strong knowledge of audit practices and procedures, including SOX, COSO Framework, NIST, etc.
Strong knowledge of IT General Controls related to operations, information security, access, change management, application source code, network, and database technologies.
Strong knowledge of technology processes, systems and infrastructure including project management, change management, access management, data processing such as job scheduling and monitoring, problem management, and backups.
Familiarity with information system concept, terminology, and its practices.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Strong skills in presenting findings and recommendations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding project management skills.
Precise and accurate attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
