NOTE: This is a part time / per diem position

 

Summary:  

Rescue Ready Service Agents are the front line of Rescue Ready Services. Our

Service visit customer locations to verify the Rescue Readiness of their AED equipment. Rescue Ready Service Agents ensure that AEDs are always ready for the rescue by replacing batteries and pads prior to expiration and by visually inspecting equipment on an annual basis. Our service are also available for AED installation services and to assist with AED swap outs. 

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

·   A Rescue Ready Service Agent is responsible for an assigned number of AEDs in a defined geographic territory.  These responsibilities include:

o Physical Annual Inspection of every assigned AED in the defined territory

o Occasional assistance with placement and installation of AEDs at customer locations

o Replacement of Pads & Batteries as needed

o Post Event support and data retrieval from AEDs

o Reporting issues through the Rescue Ready Services Ticketing System

o Assist as needed with special projects in the field

 

Required Qualifications:

Rescue Ready Service Agent must be able to operate computer equipment and a smart phone with the Check AED mobile application. Due to the nature and environments our service professionals visit, all Rescue Ready Service Agents must pass a full background check and drug screening prior to hire.  A state issued driver’s license is required.  A smart phone or tablet is required to use the mobile application and will not be provided.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Fire/Police/Military/EMS background strongly preferred. Veteran Status is a plus.  Certified in CPR/AED/FA is also preferred.
 

Travel:

Local travel and short distance driving.  Agents will be expected to submit their own expense reports and accurately document mileage travelled, and time worked through the systems provided.  

The Per Diem rate for this role is $25/hourly. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
