Summary of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Account Executive working within our friendly team. The purpose of the role is to maximise sales and revenue to a predefined account base by driving home the business offers and initiatives to eligible customers.  You will also be maintaining revenue and driving new and arising business targets. The job holder requires the ability to react and adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.  A target driven and can-do attitude alongside great communication skills and attention to detail are critical for this role.

You will have the opportunity to work with the field sales team and many other customer facing departments. The role will require you to report on and use monthly sales data to support the commercial activity of the Area Account Managers in the field, maintaining customer relations, sales, compliance to offers, and prospecting.

This role has great career development prospects, giving the individual an opportunity to progress within the organisation. 

This role will be primarily based at our Leigh Service Centre Site (WN7 3XJ) so we are looking for candidates based in easy proximity of the site for hybrid working and there is a requirement to have a driving licence for occasional travel.

About the Candidate

As well as your strong communication skills, you will have excellent analytical, problem solving and organisation skills and be a strong team player! Previous knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the wholesale market, as well as experience within a contact centre are all desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.

This role adopts a hybrid working format: Monday to Wednesday on site; Thursday to Friday work from home.
