The MEA Innovation Project Manager owns the E2E delivery of the MEA BU led innovation projects necessary to achieve our growth goals in line with MEA’s strategic growth priorities.
Responsibilities:
Manages the Geo-expansions/Initiatives and maintenance projects through all stages of the Haleon innovation funnel (from Gate 0 through execution) and project set-up in Fusion system
Investigate key contact and acquire necessary info before G1. Initiating kick-off call and form Core team
Create timelines with tasks and monitor the process through recurrent call for follow-up actions & check list until launch date (also for Global Led projects and new launches supported by EMEA PM)
Issue resolution and communicating risks and changes
Maintenance projects: being SPOC for global teams, consolidate market needs & possible timelines etc. and monitor progress of implementation
Manage E2E Innovation and commercial rollout of projects for a specific market (cluster)
Scope of Role:
Proficiency in delivering innovation projects of varying complexity.
Proficiency in delivering assigned priority stewardship (maintenance) initiatives partnering closely with Supply Chain and R&D team members.
For select markets, may be responsible for managing country-level launch details.
Leadership
Role model HALEON culture.
Co-lead efforts to embed PM best practices as part of overall business capability building.
Strong partnership with the Project Accountable Lead, providing confidence and competence necessary to take on the most challenging objectives and drive accountability.
Proficiency in driving resolution of team conflicts through skilled negotiation and diplomacy, elevating to accountable functional leaders as necessary.
Foster an environment of enthusiasm, accountability and teamwork, and help reward and celebrate achievements.
Project Management
Accountable for building project team (functions, people) upon project approval, partnering closely with cross-functional leadership.
Guide core teams to ensure timely decision making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to applicable processes, contingency planning and execution.
Accountable for assuring there is a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs, comprehensive spend forecasts.
Develop & maintain comprehensive timelines in PPM system with cross-functional input, by integrating key functional deliverables and local market launch activities, considering dependencies and resource requirements.
Drives functional area’s probability of success assessments in support of portfolio pipeline activities
Proficiency in proactively identifying issues and drive resolution, with limited guidance, and assure comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plan is in place for all projects.
Ensure significant changes to the aligned business case are communicated rapidly and efficiently to appropriate leadership (via existing change control process)
Assure accuracy of assigned projects’ content in PPM system working closely with data owners from cross-functional project team.
Align & deliver all key project milestones to support appropriate metrics.
Drive gate readiness partnering closely with Project Accountable Lead and action any gate meeting outcomes with broader project team.
Conduct lessons learned with project teams, document, and assure dissemination out to organization as best practice.
Develop, align and track project budget, rapidly communicating variance.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree
3 to 4 years marketing, brand management, innovation experience focused on complex projects management.
Strong project management capabilities with proven experience
Experience with leadership of multi-faceted projects, influencing different functions across complex organization to deliver successful and on time projects
Strong leadership skills, including ability to lead and influence up, down and over with a matrixed organization (large, diverse teams, peer groups, senior stakeholders)
Strong communication skills – can communicate effectively, manage multiple stakeholders and drive to decisions
Positive, can-do mindset, with the ability to motivate a cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Experience in Analytics and Facility with P&Ls including ability to build business cases
Entrepreneurial experience
Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations including organizational changes and changes in job demands
Comfortable challenging status-quo. Proactive in identifying, leading and implementing change initiatives.
