Job Summary:

 

 The Senior HRIS Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, management, and project execution related to the HCM platform.  This role will help manage the execution and delivery of HR Technology projects and manage the HRIS support team for escalated production issues.  

The Senior HRIS Manager role will help lead the HR Technology Project Portfolio Process: Work with HR leadership to develop annual HR project portfolio, in coordination with People Strategy objectives and actions, Enterprise & HR technical roadmaps, and HR annual cycle priorities and initiatives. Present updates monthly to CHRO and work with HR leadership team on prioritization, ownership, and timeline conflicts. Help facilitate updates to projects from HR centers of excellence, facilitate communications across COEs, ensure understanding of HR systems and analytics impacts, and coordinate with Information Technology to inform of HR needs.

  • Year over Year Customer Experience Review

  • Monthly report out on project status, issues trends and backlog requests

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. These include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain roadmap of projects and enhancements and effectively communicate timelines and progress updates to stakeholders 

  • Partner with departments to manage the planning, configuration, and testing for annual projects, such as performance and merit cycles, open benefit enrollment, ACA, payroll year end and compliance reporting

  • Regularly report project status to program managers, senior management and/or the sponsor and stakeholders.

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, management, and projects related to the Workday platform, including requirement-gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Conduct system and process change readiness reviews to ensure fixes/enhancements are deployed per requirements

  • Lead and mentor HRIS support team

  • Partner with subject matter experts across all subdisciplines (e.g., Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Learning, Finance) to simplify and optimize processes, reduce manual efforts, and enhance business capabilities.

  • Planning for needed resources and funding based on business needs and objectives.

Formal Education, Qualifications or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
