Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring a Utility Coordination Document Manager to join our world-class team in our East Central Region, with a primary focus on projects in Indiana and other states. With an attitude of teamwork and collaboration, our new staff member will work closely with the utility coordination team and our project managers to deliver on infrastructure projects in Indiana and around the region. Our staff is well versed in both traditional and design-build projects and continue to win many projects as we continue to be one of INDOT’s most trusted partners.

Being a Utility Coordination Document Manager at Parsons means you have an opportunity to work closely in a team environment to learn, interact, and contribute to delivering our incredible projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain INDOT’s Utility Management System

  • Build collaborative relationships with multiple utility partners across multiple states.

  • Assist with outreach to utility partners as needed and provide the team with collected information.

  • Assist with maintaining utility correspondence, maintaining correspondence logs, and ensuring the team remains data compliant to Parson’s document management policy.

  • Maintain organization of Utility Coordination Team SharePoint Site

  • Maintain Utility Coordination Team document organization and ensure documents adhere to document naming conventions.

  • Assist the Utility Coordination Team to be current on project schedules and meet project milestones.

  • Assist the team with all new INDOT UMS updates and requirements.

  • Assist the team to improve relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

  • Assist with training the utility coordination team on new software.

  • Work closely with Project Managers and office leadership as needed to create, edit, and manage documents.

  • Provide support to the ROW Manager with document management and INDOT’s LRS system as needed.

  • Assist in the QA/QC review and editing of utility coordination submittal documents.

  • Additional administrative duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated aptitude for using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Google Chrome and similar products required

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate on projects internally and externally, interface with clients, utilities, and other project stakeholders

Salary Range: 

$25.34 - $44.33
