This position is part of the Bioprocess Commercial Organization with a Southeast territory and will be fully remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Provide expert technical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating superior product and application knowledge for Cytiva chromatography resin products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the top accounts in their region through regular personal contact.
- Support customer process development, purification, and manufacturing projects by providing product and application information, answering inquiries, giving presentations, assisting with logistics, and providing limited lab bench work in support.
- Use market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer account sales strategies.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver product training to customers and internal team on products and applications to improve customer satisfaction and maintain relationships. Work with assigned area sales team to meet and exceed Modality annual sales goals/targets.
Who you are:
- BS Degree in Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry) Engineering or related discipline.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical /Biotech Industry and strong, working knowledge of chromatography plus hands-on experience in protein purification.
- 4+ years of progressively responsible post-bachelor experience as a Research Scientist or Chromatography Product Specialist, Field Application/Technical Specialist, or related experience.
- Solid problem-solving skills - the ability to resolve complex problems, communicate issues, and propose solutions to both external customers and internal team members.
- Team-oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Chromatography process development/engineering
- Purification of biotherapeutics (antibodies, proteins, viral vectors, ADCs)
