Job description

Our crypto wallet is used by millions of people and provides a single, convenient solution for managing all your accounts and tokens across Solana, Ethereum, Base, and Polygon. As the engineering leader under our Platform team at Phantom you’ll be enabling Phantom engineering to quickly deliver innovative and reliable new products by building developer infrastructure and optimizing the developer experience.

The platform team will be doing everything from managing our infrastructure (AWS, Terraform), maintaining cross-platform client tooling (React, React Native), and crafting multi-chain SDKs (Typescript). Join us on our mission to make the digital economy safe and easy to use for everyone.

This role is fully remote; however, we’re only open to candidates based in US and EU time zones. Currently, Phantom cannot support employees from the following countries and continents: Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine, Asia, Oceania, and Africa.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and coaching: You will be managing and coaching a full-stack engineering team and guide the development of infrastructure across web, mobile, backend and data engineering.
  • Technical leadership: You will be a thoughtful technical voice and support your team and the broader engineering organization in making diligent architectural decisions.
  • Setting direction: You will be collaborating with engineers and the founders to turn our vision into a tangible roadmap.
  • Team building: You will be working with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire.

The target base salary for this role will range between $200,000 to $240,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
