We're looking for a highly experienced backend software engineer to work on new cutting-edge projects on critical financial applications that require high-quality engineering.
Your role will be to work on the financial Rust backend stack and more specifically :
Architect and Develop Backend Systems: Design and implement scalable, efficient backend solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability across our platform.
Mentor and Support Team Members: Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes learning and professional growth.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the backend codebase, refactoring, and optimizing for better performance and maintainability.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage closely with frontend, design, and product teams to ensure that backend solutions align with overall product goals and user needs.
Optimize and Scale Infrastructure: Ensure that backend infrastructure is scalable and optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure API Performance and Stability: Develop and maintain robust APIs, ensuring seamless communication between services and external integrations.
Implement Testing and Monitoring Practices: Set up automated testing, monitoring, and alert systems to ensure backend stability and swift resolution of issues.
Own Backend Architecture Decisions: Make critical architectural decisions, balancing technical innovation with pragmatism to deliver effective, scalable solutions.

10+ years in a backend engineering role in product-driven organizations
have a track record in mobile-first products
have an excellent eye for aesthetics, layouts, fonts, and what makes a lovable product
are fluent in English (written and spoken)
break down big projects into small deliverables, well-presented to the team, and move fast based on user feedback. You prefer small solutions and know when to improve something.
Are comfortable with product analytics (Amplitude is a plus)
Are passionate about personal finance & investing
Have experience in fintech
