Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

A seasoned lean practitioner's job description:

  • Leading projects: Identifying opportunities and developing business cases for lean process improvement projects 
  • Coaching and training: Coaching employees and teams to use lean tools, such as Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen 
  • Analyzing processes: Analyzing current work practices to identify areas for improvement 
  • Implementing solutions: Devising and testing solutions, and rolling out new ways of working 
  • Measuring and monitoring: Ensuring that processes are measured, monitored, and controlled 
  • Communicating best practices: Assisting with reports and presentations to communicate best practices 
  • Championing performance excellence: Demonstrating performance excellence behaviors and championing performance excellence 
What your background should look like:

Qualifications for a lean practitioner role include:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business or a technical field 
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification with 5 plus years of facilitating continuous improvement projects
  • Strong leadership skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent problem-solving ability 

A plus is Aerospace, Defense, and/or regulatory environment

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $119,700 - 179,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
