Job description

Scope of Position

The Power Platform Lead Developer is a seasoned professional who leads the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, SharePoint, and D365 Modules, as well as the ability to guide and mentor Power Platform consultants and developers.

Essential Job Duties

  • Work directly with stakeholders to support various projects and solutions.
  • Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
  • Installation and configuration of data gateways.
  • Development of Azure logic apps and functions and Power BI development.
  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement. 
  • Lead the analysis, design, development, and implementation of solutions using Power Apps (Canvas, Model-Driven, and Portal).
  • Oversee the use of Power Automate to automate business processes and workflows.
  • Guide the utilization of Dataverse for data modelling and business logic.
  • Ensure the creation of engaging user experiences with Power Pages.
  • Oversee the development of solutions in ASP .NET and Node.js as needed.
  • Ensure the implementation of REST APIs and jQuery for seamless data integration.
  • Guide the application of JavaScript for client-side scripting.
  • Oversee the use of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools for version control and deployment.
  • Ensure the development in C# when required.
  • Lead the design and implementation of virtual agents using PVA (Power Virtual Agents).
  • Oversee the creation of insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Ensure the leverage of Dual Write for real-time data synchronization.
  • Oversee the development and management of SharePoint solutions.
  • Work with D365F&O modules for business process automation.
  • Mentor and guide Power Platform Consultants and Developers in their roles.

Education & Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum BS degree in computer science or technology-related fields
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in automation-oriented solution
  • Advanced experience with MS Power Platform environment, Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Experience with Azure Dataverse & Azure SQL
  • Experience developing canvas and model driven PowerApps with a nice UX interface.
  • Experience developing solutions that span multiple Office365 services (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, One Note, One Drive, etc.)
  • Experience migrating business processes to PowerApps and Power Automate 
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively support competing prioritize.
  • Self-starter who can quickly acclimate to a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, Gitlab and JIRA is a plus
  • Experience developing other creative and innovative automation solution is a plus
  • Team player, eager to learn and wanting to evolve
