How you’ll make an Impact

As the Manager of IT Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Client Strategy while leading a dedicated team of IT Advisors. Your primary focus will be to collaborate with the Director to deliver exceptional IT Advisory Services to our customers. In this dynamic position, you will drive continuous improvement in our processes and documentation, all while mentoring and empowering your team members to reach their full potential.  Summary of Location and Hours

  • 100% Remote
  • Monday – Friday, approximately 8am-5pm CST (possible after hours as needed)

 

What You’ll be doing

  • Lead and manage the IT Advisory Team by guiding team members in achieving their KPIs through regular coaching and mentoring. This includes conducting weekly and quarterly meetings with all IT Advisors for performance insights and overseeing annual performance evaluations to support professional growth.
  • Work with the Director of Client Strategy to ensure all IT Advisory staff are trained in new and existing technologies relevant to their roles and knowledgeable about current standards.
  • Support the overall staffing needs of the IT Advisory Team by evaluating and hiring new members, facilitating disciplinary processes as needed, and managing the offboarding of existing team members as needed.
  •  Oversee administrative responsibilities for direct reports, including reviewing and approving time-off requests, timesheets, and expense reports.
  • Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions in all their communications.
  • Ensure all members of the IT Advisory Team are productive and appropriately scheduled, including maintaining an average of 1 Annual Assessment per week, per advisor.
  • Ensure all Annual Assessments/Roadmaps, Mid-Year Reviews and client strategy consulting sessions are completed and reviewed.
  • Collaborate with the Client Success department to maintain alignment between Account Managers and IT Advisors, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and facilitating IT Advisor availability when needed.
  • Maintain service-related content in ConnectWise; ensuring that all tickets and SLAs are met.
  • Establish and sustain a Lifecycle system to ensure accurate client strategy for clients.
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining Ntiva Minimum Standards.
  • Review of the overall Advisory process including all deliverables and work with the Director of Client strategy to continue to improve the service from a strategic view.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and analyze information to support the strategic vision of the IT Advisory service.
  • Ensure documentation for all managed clients is updated and maintained.
  • Assist in integrating newly acquired companies into the Ntiva Client Strategy team as needed.
  • Attend presentations as needed.
  • Escalate issues to the Director as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director.

 

You’ll be successful in this role if you have

  • 10+ years in IT/managed service experience with a focus in Client Strategy
  • 3-5 Year Management Experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred

 

Required language skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally
  • Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $95,000 and $125,000 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus if applicable, not all roles are subject to a bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Workspace Requirements and Remote Work Policy
Team members must establish a dedicated safe workspace that is free from distractions, hazards, and that is secure from unauthorized access. This includes following Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies that include but are not limited to password-protecting all equipment, keeping confidential and proprietary documents secure, refraining from using public Wi-Fi, having adequate arrangements in place to avoid significant interruptions from caregiving responsibilities during work hours (except in emergency situations with manager approval). Any remote work away from a team member’s normal expected dedicated safe workspace must be requested by team member, is subject to review by management, and must adhere to Ntiva policies and procedures.
