Job description

Our customer, a leading open source software solutions provider, is in need of a Sr. Red Hat Satellite Consultant for an initial 5 month remote contract. The Sr. Red Hat Satellite Consultant will work closely with the customer to help them understand their Red Hat Satellite installation ensuring that both functionality and deployment strategies are precisely outlined and comprehended by the customer.

Required Skills

  • Experience reviewing, revising and documenting the below:
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts and their roles to be managed.
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux host patching and software content management plan.
    • Backup and Recovery strategy.
    • Lifecycle environment process for content release and patching.
    • Executing simple Ansible playbook via Ansible remote execution.
  • Experience configuring kickstart based RHEL host provisioning.
