In this role, you will:

  • Validate and gather comprehensive business and technical requirements for complex data initiatives
  • Design and implement robust data architectures using Databricks and Delta Lake technologies
  • Develop scalable data models that support critical banking applications and analytics platforms
  • Create and maintain data governance frameworks aligned with financial regulatory requirements
  • Architect solutions that ensure data quality, performance, and compliance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business analysts, and senior leadership
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with Databricks platform
  • Expert-level knowledge of Delta Lake architecture
  • Proven experience in designing enterprise data solutions
  • Strong background in data modeling and dimensional design
  • Experience in SQL, PySpark, and Spark optimization techniques
  • Experience with Databricks workspace and runtime environments
  • Experience with Azure Cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech industries
  • Certifications in Databricks, cloud platforms, or data architecture
  • Background in data governance and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of financial data regulations (GDPR, CCPA, Basel frameworks)
