Responsibilities

- Oversees the strategic direction of the product line or a significant segment of a major product, directly influencing key product decisions, long-term roadmaps, and strategic priorities.
- Responsible for significant product areas that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line, potentially overseeing products or features that drive substantial revenue, sometimes in the range of millions of dollars annually.
- Leads the integration of market and customer research into product strategy, ensuring the product aligns with customer needs and maintains a competitive edge in the marketplace.
Financial Impact:
- Directly influences strategic product decisions that can significantly affect the company's revenue, market share, and profitability. Their decisions and product strategy can result in substantial revenue growth, cost savings, or both.
- Accountable for setting and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product success, such as revenue targets, market penetration rates, and return on investment (ROI) for new features or enhancements.
Interactions Within the Organization:
- Collaborates with senior management, executive teams, and various departments to ensure that the product strategy is aligned with the company’s overall business strategy and long-term goals.
- Often serves as a bridge between the executive team and product teams, translating high-level business strategies into actionable product roadmaps and feature specifications.

- History of professional growth and thought leadership in product management, contributing to the wider product community and advancing the practice within the organization.
- Evidence of leading large-scale product initiatives, driving significant business growth, and enhancing organizational capabilities in product development.
Education:
- Bachelor’s but preference for master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field, with extensive training in product management and Agile practices.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $132,000 - $150,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
