Job description

Our client is seeking UX Content Designers to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role is based in Seattle, and candidates must be local and open to commuting.

As a UX Content Designer, you will focus on enhancing products and experiences through language and user needs. Your responsibilities will include evaluating customer journeys, designing in-product flows, improving information architecture, and refining in-product language. You will ensure our client's product content is clear, meets customer needs, and is easy to localize.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead content design work for a diverse, international audience
  • Develop product flows and messaging frameworks
  • Craft clear, engaging in-product content that simplifies complex financial concepts
  • Collaborate with various teams to create a cohesive customer experience across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Use data, user research, and customer feedback to inform content design decisions
  • Contribute to our client's design and content systems and advocate for accessibility


Required Professional Experience and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of content design or relevant UX writing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, user experience, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience
  • A UX content design portfolio that ideally includes end-to-end customer journeys, user interface copy, and user education
  • Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complex flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases
  • Familiarity with design tools, especially Figma
  • Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences in a compelling way
  • Experience working with compliance and legal teams during the content and product development and approval process
